I'm Sorry

Some might say you were only motor and metal,
But to me you where a lot more
I still remember how much I had to have you
When I saw you in the store

Such a beauty my own little machine
Riding you on the roads where like a dream

One stupid night I had to drive my friend to some place
We where running late and I knew I raced

I don't know what happened but next I where face down the dirt
I couldn't think clear and it sure did hurt

Now I sit here with a broken arm and in a wheelchair
My wheels for the nearest future, but I don't care

I have just been told that the assurance says you're domed
I don't know what to do but sit and stare out in my room

You where a nice thing to have for a person who don't have many friends
What I would give to ride you once again

I only wanted you back then, nothing more, nothing less
A part of me died with my Virago 250S
