One day years ago our paths crossed.
Our souls met.
We became one.
We were soul mates.
Now it has been ten years and we almost lost it all.
One day we went for a ride.
We went to the Honda Drop,
It was a hot day so we decided to go ridding.
We were going to go to Cruiser's but that didn't quite work out the
way we planned
Went to pass two automobiles.
We thought we were safe.
All the sudden we got next to the truck.
Oh my god
He turned in front of us.
He took us down.
My saviors held that bike as long as he could.
Bumps, bruises, fractures and a lost limb
but we are still here.
I remember being on the side of the road
Looking down at myself people all around.
All I could think is no not yet it is not time
Some one said something to me and it all goes black.
I wake up in the hospital.
Thank God we are still alive.
If we died that day it would be the way I would want to go
But not to be able to do all the things we want to do and never to see
the kids again.
No way not yet. You can't take us.
No one can choose when we die but we still have a few things we want
to do
When we go ridding that is our time to be together and we will never
lose that.
Bikes can be rebuilt and wounds will heal.
One thing scooter trash will always remember.
The best saying of all
LIVE TO RIDE AND RIDE TO LIVE
My love for my husband and my family will never die but we will always
ride.
Scooter Trash till the day we die.
